Just as he was about to thank the other for accepting his request, he suddenly jutted out his lower lip, forming a small pout. “Ah, should have figured you’d want something in return..” he murmured, loud enough for the other to barely hear. After pausing for a moment, he let out a small breath and grinned at the male. “Anything you want? Or.. how about we just meet up from some lunch tomorrow?” he suggested, taking slow steps off towards his place, his eyes fixated on Francesco in hopes he would follow him. “I’ve always wanted to go to London. I was supposed to go a few months from now, but plans change and so do people.” he began, not bothering to explain his situation to someone he just met. He thought about what he said next though, and smiled a little to himself. “Maybe a bird. Oh and don’t worry about it. The way you speak.. there isn’t anything wrong about it.”
He let out a small chuckled laugh at the pout he saw forming on the other’s lips, not bothering to hide the fact that he seemed amused by it—perhaps he did not realise it might have been more polite to do so, or he did not care. Nevertheless, he gave an answering quirk of a smile when Taemin grinned at him, before a distantly pensive look crossed through his eyes. “What’s the weather like tomorrow?” he asked casually, while he was at least, nice enough to fall into a light walk, an indifferent grace in his movements. His own eyes were no longer on Taemin, but the dark street ahead; his eyes could adjust easily to the dark, but he wondered how well the other fared. “People do change”, he agreed without preamble, as it was certainly a truth he had learned in his life. “Nevertheless, it’s a shame when you wish you could keep them as they were. As if you could, pause time…” he trailed off, before realising what he had said, and he quickly said, “But if you ever go to London, I still have my flat there. I might have to ask for something in return if you want to make use of it, but it’s an offer.”
