She didn't jump hearing the voice. Instead she tried to zero in on it. Her eyes landed on someone that she couldn't clearly make out. Her arms folded around her torso tightly and she let her eyes move around again in alarm of anything else around. "I'm sure." She realized the words he said were quite valid for the point of her being quite alone in this situation. He could be anyone, anything. He could try to kill her. She froze in her steps though. "Should have thought twice., right?"
☥ He lowered his head, eyes closing as he hummed out a low sound from the back of his throat, for a moment not uttering any words. But then he breathed in and raised his head, turning it quietly towards the voice of the woman. “Would thinking twice suffice?” he murmured out, opening dark eyes. “Maybe third time pays the price.” He did not attempt to get up from where he was sitting, and following his words he listened for her breathing, and any steps dainty feet might take. Words lips, might speak.
