“Don’t mention it, it’s the least I could do.” He says after, a low hum reverberating in his throat as he began to think. He had obviously missed the tone of voice the other male had used due to fatigue that was suddenly taking over. It had been a long day for him and the night only seemed to drag on longer, making him wish it was daylight when he had met Francesco. Their meeting would probably have turned out better than this one. “Really? Be my dance partner for a few hours then. It will be worth it, I promise.” He flashes the male a soft smile before his gaze turns the building again, seeing as they had finally reached it. It took a while for him to register that Francesco indeed had revealed his age and he simply nodded his head. “Ah. You’re as old as me.” He comments, walking into the building as the automatic doors open for them. Inside is mostly dark except for a few lamps on here and there to light up the lobby, but it was quiet as ever. It would make sense, it was reaching around 2 AM. “And to the elevator.. almost there.”
While for Taemin it was an hour most late, to him it was not even nearly so. His concept of time was certainly not the same, but then—if you were allergic to the sun as he claimed to be, would you not favour being awake in the night yourself? So whilst Taemin’s mind was getting careless by fatigue, Francesco’s mind was ever so alert. His gaze roamed, taking in the little details of the night, before falling on his company anew, and he arched an eyebrow. “I will hold you to that promise”, he told him softly, a quirk of a smile on his lips. He did not comment on him saying they were as old as each other, however—while in the physical sense it was most true, he knew that fact stood against it, claiming his real age far beyond that of twenty. But lies were unnecessary, as long as they could be avoided, and in some ways it was a kind of game, to avoid stating his age in clear numbers. “… Looks like quite a nice building you have managed to settle into”, he mumbled out as he followed him to the elevator, so that they could take themselves to destination.
