The female slightly crinkled her nose at his misfortune. "It sounds very— appealing.“ She pressed her lips together tightly; it sounded anything but attractive, and she wondered how someone could ever live in such a state. "Isn’t there medication for it?” Her head tilted as she spoke, eyes trailing over the skin and his pale cheeks. “Surely, someone has created some kind of cream? Because I am assuming sunscreen just isn’t enough…” As her voice withered, she allowed her gaze to travel elsewhere, scanning her surroundings for a brief moment.
“There are probably things that can be done, but if you have ever heard of someone allergic to the sun, I’m rather sure most of them—tragically—have to spend most of their time indoors”, he told her graciously, with a soft snicker following, though of unknown reasons they would need to be, before he drew a breath. “Naturally there are lotions these days that help soothe the burns after the pain has already been inflicted, as you can see I am not covered by scar tissue”, he did add, voice softening towards the end as he watched her, and the way her gaze traveled elsewhere. “I wonder what you see”, he found himself musing out before the words could quite be held back.
